In 1946, two young brothers returned from serving their country in World War II and opened a real estate company in the garage of their parents' home in Mobile, Alabama.

John and David Roberts were part of "The Greatest Generation" and through their work ethic, character, and entrepreneurial spirit, they formed a company to offer property ownership opportunities for thousands of Mobilians. More than 7 decades later, the name Roberts Brothers is still known for integrity, professionalism, and results.

In 2005, the company was purchased by HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate. HomeServices, based in Minneapolis, the largest full-service independent residential real estate brokerage firm in the United States.

Johnny Roberts, Jr., a second-generation Roberts family member is our proud Emeritus, serves as Company Chairman, while Teresa Williamson serves as President.

1987: Roberts Brothers, Inc., opens its first office in Baldwin County.

2005: Roberts Brothers, Inc., is purchased by HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate.

HomeServices is the second-largest residential Real Estate brokerage firm in the United States.
